Morse Sense is a mobile application developed and published by Teqpan. This Privacy Policy explains how Morse Sense accesses, uses, processes, stores, and shares information when you use the application.
1. Overview
Morse Sense is designed to help users learn, practice, translate, transmit, and decode Morse code. The application does not require users to create an account and Teqpan does not operate a backend server that stores personal user profiles, Morse messages, microphone recordings, camera images, or practice history.
Most app functionality and user data are processed locally on the user's device.
2. Information processed by Morse Sense Local app data
Morse Sense may store information locally on your device, including:

3. Microphone access
Morse Sense may request access to your device microphone to allow you to detect and decode external Morse code audio signals. Microphone input is used for signal analysis and Morse decoding. Teqpan does not:

4. Camera access
Morse Sense may request access to your device camera for light-based Morse signal decoding. Camera input is used to detect changes in light intensity and interpret them as Morse signals. Teqpan does not:

5. Flashlight and vibration
Morse Sense can use the device flashlight and vibration hardware to transmit Morse signals. These functions do not collect personal information.
6. Advertising
The free version of Morse Sense may display advertisements provided through Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads. Google's advertising technology may automatically process certain information, including:
Advertising may be personalized or non-personalized depending on applicable law, device settings, consent choices, and Google advertising configuration. Teqpan does not sell personal information to advertisers. Advertising data processed by Google is handled according to Google's own privacy policies and data practices.
7. Premium purchases and Google Play Billing
Morse Sense may offer optional Premium features through Google Play. Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. Teqpan does not receive or store:

Morse Sense may receive or store information necessary to determine whether a valid Premium purchase or entitlement exists.
8. Internet access
Morse Sense may use an internet connection for services including:
Core Morse learning, translation, transmission, and decoding functionality may process information locally on the device where technically possible.
9. Analytics and crash reporting
Teqpan does not currently operate its own analytics platform, tracking backend, Firebase Analytics implementation, or independent crash-reporting service for Morse Sense. Google Play, Android, Google Mobile Ads, or other platform services may independently process diagnostic, performance, advertising, or crash-related information according to their own privacy policies.

Teqpan does not sell users' personal information. Information may be processed by third-party service providers necessary to operate certain application features, primarily:
These services operate under their own privacy policies and terms. Teqpan may also disclose information if required by applicable law, legal process, or governmental request.
11. Data security
Morse Sense is designed to minimize the amount of personal information handled directly by Teqpan.
Most user-generated app information is stored locally on the user's device. Where third-party services transmit data over the internet, those services are responsible for their own security measures. Google states that data transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. Data retention
Data stored locally by Morse Sense remains on the device until it is deleted by the user, cleared through device settings, removed by uninstalling the application, or otherwise removed by the operating system.
Information processed by Google or other third-party services is retained according to the respective provider's policies and legal obligations.
13. Your choices and controls
Users can control many privacy-related functions through their device settings, including:
Disabling a permission may prevent the corresponding Morse Sense feature from functioning.
14. Children's privacy
Morse Sense does not intentionally request users to provide personal information such as names, postal addresses, telephone numbers, or personal profiles. Teqpan does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through its own servers. Third-party services integrated into the application may process technical or advertising-related information according to their own policies and applicable legal requirements. 15. International users
Morse Sense may be available in multiple countries. Depending on your location, applicable privacy laws may give you rights relating to personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or request information about certain processing activities. Because Teqpan does not maintain user accounts or a central database of Morse Sense user profiles, Teqpan may not possess personal information that can be directly associated with a particular user. Data processed independently by Google or other third-party providers is subject to the privacy controls and request procedures provided by those companies.
16. Changes to this Privacy Policy
Teqpan may update this Privacy Policy when Morse Sense features, third-party services, legal requirements, or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this policy will be updated when material revisions are made. Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
